Toilets
Polyjohn Chemical Toilets including service & recharge
A fully mobile, self contained, single, chemical toilet facility containing a hand wash unit and a plastic W.C. with hand pump flushing. The unit is constructed from high density, impact resistant polyethylene materials with double thickness clam shell moulded door. The translucent roof allows daylight into the unit and there are draught proof vents around the top of the walls.
Dimensions are approximately 4’ x 3’9” x 8’ high.
The interior consists of a hand wash unit and a plastic WC with hand pump flushing. The unit has a large capacity tank which enables the WC to be used without any mains water at all. It provides approximately 900 flushes before it needs to be emptied and recharged. The unit is delivered to site primed and ready for use.
The design ensures that no chemicals or effluent can soak into the ground and the units are, therefore, environmentally friendly.
CLEANING
They are emptied and cleaned on a weekly basis by one of our operatives, using a tanker mounted on a small flatbed lorry. The tanker pumps all the effluent from the toilet tank into its own holding tank. The toilet is then recharged with a fresh supply of chemicals and the appropriate amount of fresh water, which is also brought to site in the tanker. The unit is thoroughly cleaned inside and supplied with two toilet rolls and soap.
